I'm Falling and You Forgot to Catch Me

I tripped, it was merely an accident.
I reached out, placing myself on the line
and you just let me fall, even though you promised that you wouldn't.
Tell me why?
Why do i do this to myself.
Why do i put myself out there, if i know that it only leads to me falling.
