At a loss for words

My mouth won't open

It has nothing left to say

When a thought pops into my head, I shy away

And think that better be left unsaid.

I think about my opinions and my dreams

Do people really care, when they ask

Should I even bother reaching for the stars

When people block my touch

I want to feel the burn of light

The feeling of something done

So I reach out again and again

When you already know they've won?
